It’s Pretzel Day!

“I wake up every morning in a bed that’s too small, drive my daughter to a school that’s too expensive, and then I go to work to a job for which I get paid too little, but on Pretzel Day? Well, I like Pretzel Day.”

  • Preheat oven to 450℉. Divide dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll dough out into long strands about 24 inches long. Grab dough by ends Make a U-shape, holding the ends of the rope, cross them over each other and press onto the bottom of the U forming a pretzel shape.
  • Boil pretzels into the hot water and baking soda mixture 1 by 1 for about 1 minute. Place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Sprinkle rock salt or cinnamon sugar on top.
