“Big Tuna” Sandwich

You asked for it, so here it is. The recipe that started the nickname I never wanted.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (6 oz) tuna in water, drained
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/8 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 slices bread

Instructions

  • Toast bread (optional)
  • In a medium bowl, mix the tuna, celery, onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  • Spread tuna mixture on 2 bread slices. Top with remaining bread slices.
